​Understand the basics of HVAC&R drafting according to ASHREA and SMACNA standards for chilled water distribution and air distribution systems respectively. In order to prepare HVAC&R shop drawing and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumping) composite drawings, reviewing architectural drawings (plans, sections and elevation) and structural drawings (plans and sections) to study the necessary details such as (grid, scale, beam depth, wide space available between soffit and false ceiling, etc. ). Also, this course covers introduction to HVAC drafting using CAD software such as AutoCAD MEP with its blocks library for HVAC&R will be used. Basic 2D/3D drawing creation and editing techniques will be covered. Drawings will be created and plotted.
